Estonian Nautical School is the only vocational training institution in Estonia which conducts vocational maritime training. Curriculums are in accordance with International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watch keeping for Seafarers (STCW), 1978 and the ISO 9001:2015 quality standard. 

 

There are the following specialities which are 3.- 4. level according Estonian Qualifications Framework:

  • Officer in charge of navigational watch on ships of 500 gross tonnage or more (EstQF 4)
  • Engineer officer in charge of watch on a ship powered by diesel engines with main propulsion machinery of 750 kW propulsion power or more (EstQF 4)
  • Ship’s motorman (EstQF 3)
  • Rating as able seafarer deck (ESTQ 3)
  • Ship's electro-technical rating (EstQF 4)
  • Inland waters navigator (EstQF 3)

 

The language of instructions is Estonian.
